What Is Eternal Life?

Eternal life is the fulfillment of God’s plan for humanity.

God created us not only for this world, but for everlasting communion with Him.

Eternal life is more than endless existence. It is sharing forever in the life, love, and joy of the Blessed Trinity.

The Resurrection of the Body

Christianity does not teach that salvation is only for the soul.

At the end of time, Christ will raise the dead and reunite soul and body.

Just as Jesus rose bodily from the dead, believers will also share in the resurrection.

Our resurrected bodies will be glorified and free from corruption and death.

The New Creation

God will not abandon His creation.

Sacred Scripture teaches that God will bring forth a new heaven and a new earth.
